Boxy Blooms Blanket – New pattern from the Boxy Blooms collection 🌸🧶
The Boxy Blooms Collection has a brand-new member: the Boxy Blooms Blanket! When I finished the very last stitch of my Boxy Blooms Cardigan, I knew this collection wouldn’t stop there. Soon after came the pullover, and now the blanket has finally bloomed into the world!
The best part? It uses the same gorgeous stitches you already love, but this time with a fun twist: I worked with two different yarn colors, switching every 2 rows. The result is a vibrant, textured blanket full of color — and here’s the magic: no weaving in ends from color changes! You simply float the yarn up the side and crochet over it when working the border.
Why You’ll Love Crocheting This Blanket 💖
Works up quickly with lots of double crochets and chains.
Beautiful drape, perfect for tossing over your couch or favorite chair.
Easy to customize the size by adding or removing multiples.

Pattern Description
The Boxy Blooms Blanket is a fresh, cozy take on the beloved Boxy Blooms stitches. Two self-striping yarns dance together, row by row, creating blooming clusters of color and texture.
Even though it’s a decent size throw, the stitch pattern makes it fly off your hook. It’s the kind of project that’s just as enjoyable to make as it is to use when finished. 🌼
17 sts x 8 rows = 4×4” (10×10 cm) 👉 To check gauge: chain 24 and work Rows 1–10 of the pattern, then measure a 4×4” square within your swatch.
Finished Measurements
48” wide x 54” long
Notes
To adjust width: add or remove multiples of 12 from your starting chain.
To adjust length: add or remove rows in multiples of 2.
Adjusting size will change yardage requirements.
Chains at the beginning of rows count as stitches.
Alternate Yarn A and Yarn B every 2 rows without cutting yarn. Float yarn up the side and crochet over floats when adding the border.
